Last Thursday we went to Thanksgiving Point for the Scarecrow festival with some of our Lewis cousins. The kids had a fabulous time. They probably would have stayed longer but my feet could hold my pregnant body no longer!
We took the hayride around the farm. The boys informed me that is was not really a hayride but rather a tractor pull because there was no hay on the trailer! Carmen and her little girl cousins were not overly impressed by the great farm smells!
The kids got to make rockets and launch them. They thought this was great. Aaron thought it was totally fun to chase the rockets for his siblings and cousins which was enjoyed by all!
Aaron enjoyed the spider car track. And all the kids thought they had been naughty and put themselves in jail. Sometimes I wish I had one of these at home!
The slides were great and where we spent the greater part of the afternoon. Eric was a great cousin and took Macie for a ride. She was a good sport but would have enjoyed it much more if the other kids would have stayed away!
Eric and Aaron were so excited to climb the rock wall. Aaron was so proud as he was the only one who reached the top to ring the bell...then the bell didn't work, go figure!
All in all a great time was had. I am very grateful to not be moving this year so we can enjoy our fall off track time!

How much fun. It makes me miss you guys so much . I wish we could have been there....someday. Enjoy the week with the kids off track.
